Treating symptoms of low testosterone in men when the body does not make any testosterone or not enough testosterone (hypogonadism). It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. It is also used to treat certain types of breast cancer in women.

Testosterone Enanthate is a male sex hormone. It works by replacing or supplementing the testosterone that is naturally made in the body. It also counteracts the effects of estrogen in certain types of breast cancer, which helps to decrease cancer growth.

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome:

Acne; bitter or strange taste in mouth; change in sex drive; fatigue; gum or mouth irritation; gum pain; gum tenderness or swelling; hair loss; headache.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); breast growth or pain; change in the size or shape of the testicles; changes in menstrual periods; coughing fit; dark urine or light-colored bowel movements; depression or mood changes; dizziness; facial hair growth; gingivitis; interrupted breathing while sleeping; loss of appetite; nausea; painful or prolonged erection; shortness of breath; stomach pain; swelling of the ankles or legs; urination problems; voice changes or hoarseness; weight gain; yellowing of the skin or eyes.

HCG, or Human chorionic gonadotropin , which is derived from the urine of pregnant women, is an injectable drug available commercially in the United States as well as many other countries. Pregnyl, made by Organon, and Profasi, made by Serono, are FDA approved for the treatment of undescended testicles in very young boys, hypogonadism (underproduction of testosterone) and as a fertility drug used to aid in inducing ovulation in women. Among athletes, HCG is used to stimulate natural testosterone production during or after a steroid cycle which has caused natural levels to be reduced. Stopping a steroid cycle abruptly, especially when endogenous androgens are absent, can cause a rapid loss in the athlete's newly acquired muscle. When HCG is used to stimulate natural production, a notably pronounced crash may be avoided. Although fakes are not very common, they do exist and should be avoided. More than one athlete has reported unpleasant side effects (fever, aches) due to an un-sterile fake so take caution. HCG is always packaged in 2 different vials,one with a powder and the other with a sterile solvent. These vials need to be mixed before injecting, and refrigerated should any be left for later use.

Pregnyl may be associated with both minor as well as serious, life-threatening side effects and other potential risks. The following are some, but not all, of the potential side effects/concerns that you should discuss with your doctor before beginning treatment.
An injection of Pregnyl can cause pain at the injection site, as well as headache, irritability, restlessness, depression, fatigue, and swelling due to retention of fluid.
A concern with fertility drugs is the risk of multiple pregnancies. About 80% of pregnancies, following fertility drug treatments with products like Pregnyl result in single births. In instances of multiple pregnancies, the majority are twins. However, three or more babies may be conceived. Your physician should discuss the risk of multiple births with you before you begin your treatments.
Be sure to discuss with your doctor side effects and any other concerns associated with your treatment prior to beginning therapy.
For athletes it may be of interest that the prolonged use of HCG could repress the body's own production of gonadotropins permanently, why short cycles are recommended.
Side effects from HCG use include gynecomastia, water retention, increased sex drive, mood alterations, headaches and high blood pressure.
HCG raises androgen levels in males by up to 400% but it also raises estrogen levels dramatically which can cause a real case of gynecomastia if dosages get too elevated.
Another side effect seen from HCG use is morning sickness (nausea and vomiting).

Anadrol is the 50mg tablet of the anabolic steroid oxymetholone, prescribed as an oral medication. Anadrol is a potent anabolic and androgenic drug. Anadrol is one of the class II anabolic steroids, and these act without aromatization into other androgenic hormones (such as caproate in Omnadren, that aromatizes into estrogen and then acts in the body). The basic mechanism of Anadrol is to act through the liver; this is how class II steroids work. Mostly, testosterone increases the level of nitrogen in body and this enhances protein synthesis. In contrast to this mechanism, Anadrol (oxymetholone) boosts the excretion of erythropoietin through urine, and triggers red blood cell production.

Anadrol is usually prescribed for patients with many kinds of anemia, for example acquired aplastic anemia, congenital aplastic anemia, mylofibrosis and hypoplastic anemia. Patients with anemia have bone marrow defects that inhibit erythropoisis (red blood cell synthesis), and are treated with this drug to enhance red blood cell synthesis to combat their deficiency. Anadrol also helps to stimulate the androgenic hormonal functions, which can give you the benefit of protein synthesis and muscle build up. Anadrol is also prescribed for patients with excessive weight loss, as it helps to gain weight and muscle via water retention in body.

Anadrol is good for anemia patients, but it has very long term side effects, and these cannot be minimized when too much of the drug has been taken. The first and foremost side effect is the inhibition of testosterone and other androgenic hormones, which causes a negative effect on the normal regulation of body systems. It can prove to be toxic by causing excessive water retention in the body, and enormous weight gain reduces body strength. It increases appetite, hair growth, acne, headaches, and is toxic for liver function. It can produce tumors in the liver by blood clotting, and can cause hepatitis, jaundice, liver cancer and cirrhosis with its long term use.
